Reliance launches Lyf Water 7, Lyf Wind 1 VoLTE smartphones starting at Rs 12,999


             Reliance has launched its first high-end smartphone Lyf Water 7 in India. The handset incorporates a fingerprint sensor and flaunts a unibody design. The device offers 4G VoLTE support and is priced at Rs 12,999.

On the specifications front, the Reliance Lyf Water 7 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 1080x1920 pixel resolution protected with a layer of Asahi Dragontrail Glass on top. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor.

The device comes with hybrid dual-sim support and offers 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card). The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera. It houses a 3,000 mAh battery and offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS as connectivity options.
 
Along with the Reliance Lyf Water 7 the company also launched its budget smartphone Lyf Wind 1 priced at Rs 6,899. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has a 5-inch IPS display. The device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage and users can further install a microSD card of 64GB to further expand the storage.

It boasts an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera for selfies. The connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and it packs a 2,300 mAh battery.

Both the smartphones will be available across all the retail stores.
